BRETALG

Our sea vegetables preserved in sea salt

We work the product in an artisanal manner : the fresh seaweed is washed in sea water and then stored in sea salt at 4°C.

We are recognized by our customers for the quality of highlighting the raw product through the control of stabilization with sea salt. BRETALG was the first company in 1991 to use this ancestral method to shore algae.

This step is key to offer wonderful and delicious sea vegetables whose conservation shall be optimal. At the same time, we offer seaweed dried at a low temperature (below 40°C).

Due to the seawater pumping installed on our processing site, our seaweed is washed with seawater and retains all their nutritional values.

This high environmental quality seawater wash goes back directly to the natural environment. We also offer local farmers all of our seaweed waste through the washing, for an environmental-friendly amendment of their soils.
